Hurricane Ike
We know that many dealers are without power and probably will
not receive this message right away, but when you do, just know that we
have had several dealers call TADA with offers of assistance. Two
Ford dealers have offered inventory for those in need.
NADA wants you to know that for dealership employees who have
severe damage to homes and property, that the NADA Charitable Foundation
has Emergency Relief Funds are available. Dealers can apply to NADA on
behalf of individual employees. Attached is the NADCF Emergency
Relief Fund Assistance application in two formats. NADA emphasizes the
importance of "printing clearly" to avoid processing delays.

703-821-7030.

Internal Revenue Service
IRS has given taxpayers in the areas affected by Ike until Sept. 22 to

The American Red Cross offers assistance to victims of Hurricane Ike, as
well as opportunities to volunteer or contribute to help those in need.

As the people affected by Hurricane Ike work to put their lives back
together, TADA wants our members in those areas affected to know that we
have you in our thoughts. TADA will continue to monitor the recovery
efforts and consider ways to offer possible assistance to our affected
members. Once again, our heartfelt sympathy goes out to our
members, their families, and to all people who have been affected by
this terrible storm. We offer our support in the days ahead as they
begin to rebuild their lives and businesses.
