Help Prevent Auto Theft in Your Community

Did you know that in Texas a car is stolen every 5 minutes? New vehicles, older models--it doesn't matter. Thieves look for cars and trucks that can be resold quickly or stripped for parts; parts that often yield two and even three times the value of the vehicle. Let your customers know the facts and help prevent auto theft in their neighborhood.

The Auto Theft Prevention Authority (ATPA), sponsors of the award- winning "Watch Your Car" campaign, has literature available for free. ATPA asks your support in distributing this important information--easy-to-read brochures, such as "50 Ways to Help End Auto Theft"-- through your dealership(s). There is absolutely no cost to you to order this collateral.

Local law enforcement and civilian groups across most of the state are actively involved in preventing auto theft in your own community and are ready to work with your dealership on programs and promotions that would most certainly generate traffic to your business.
